Using this technology, the location of vehicles that are fitted with a tracking device can be pinpointed anywhere on the planet at the touch of a button, allowing owners to keep track of their vehicles at all times.

GPS Vehicle Tracker is a combined unit of GSM & GPS. It has both hardware and software components. A GPS enabled hardware device will be installed on your vehicle. This device will have preset configurations to send location details to the server. This server will process the data and present the vehicle details through web, SMS and mobile view.

i@m device has a GPS receiver that connects to 20 satellites and obtains the location on earth. This information is converted from numbers into maps via a software/map provided by i@m.

Normally we would suggest you to let the device be installed by our Company’s trained professional or any skilled technician.

No, GPS Trackers are installed in such a way so that they are not visible to anyone. Our Technicians ensure that the device is hidden securely.

Installation generally takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on the car model. The higher the model the more time it takes for installation since wiring has to be done in a proper way.

The Tracker gets power from the battery of the Vehicle.

If someone disconnects the tracker then you will get sms alert on your registered mobile and it will get the power supply from its internal battery which can last upto 4 hours to 3 days or more.

Yes, you have to pay a monthly/ yearly amount as rental because we have to pay monthly fee for SIM Card, as GPS Trackers need to communicate with our data centre via GPRS. The monthly rent also includes the server charges, SMS Alert charges & other charges.

After the device installation we activate the device and provide you with username & password by which you can login on our website MyMap.in & track your vehicle real-time.

Yes, you can also get location/status of your vehicle by simply giving a missed call on 91 8510001053 from the registered mobile number or by SMS by typing TRACK & send it to 91 8080808030 or 57333. In case of multiple vehicles type TRACK Vehicle No. & send it to 91 8080808030 or 57333.

Yes, we store all the data for a given time period depending on your monthly rental. You can see exactly where your Vehicle was at a given point of time.

Yes, we have customized fuel sensors.

Yes, if you opt for this feature you get fuel usage history.

No, Sim card is provided with our GPS Tracker.

You can get the following reports on the website or in excel format from the MyMap tracking site:
Movement report: Gives information on total distance covered, vehicle speeds along the way.By downloading the excel sheet, you can figure out when your vehicle was over speeded and what roads they took during the journeys.
Stoppage report: Get reports on total time when the vehicle was idle.
Area report: Get reports on entry/exit from marked areas.
Trip History report: Get full history of your trips.
GPS Vehicle tracking can also provide customized reports on request.

A GPS Tracker works with satellites so it can work anywhere in the world. If the SIM card in the GPS Tracker is restricted to India then the SIM will only work in India if it’s a global roaming SIM then it can work all over the world.
Note: Currently we only provide Sim card for PAN India.

Yes there is a warranty of one year on the hardware of the unit. Warranty can be extended by paying additional amount.
